Audreys Genre Book Club is a free monthly social reading group. Genre-specific books are selected by our booksellers to inspire reflection and discussion. Expect a range of themes, ideas and styles, and a warm atmosphere in which to enjoy relaxed conversation.
Uzma's choice for March is 'Kushiel's Dart' by Jacqueline Carey. "Love As Thou Wilt" isn't just a religious mantra, but a way of life for the citizens of Terre D'Ange in this cult classic. Set in an alternative Renaissance France, this romantasy follows Phedre no Delauney, a courtesan spy who stumbles onto a plot to overthrow the crown and plunge the country into war. Phedre is no ordinary courtesan nor spy, but you'll have to discover her secrets by joining us and reading this epic adventure!
