On March 12, the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce welcomes Alberta’s Minister of Finance, Nate Horner, for a timely post-budget conversation focused on what the numbers mean for Edmonton and the broader business community.
This budget lands at a pivotal moment. Cost pressures remain elevated. Global uncertainty continues to shape trade and investment decisions. Provinces are competing aggressively for capital, talent, and infrastructure dollars. How Alberta positions itself now will influence competitiveness for years.
This luncheon will connect fiscal policy to real business impacts, investment confidence, competitiveness, and economic growth across the region.
What you will gain:
- Direct insight into Alberta’s 2026 budget priorities
- Context on how fiscal decisions affect business costs, growth, and investment
- Perspective on provincial economic direction and competitiveness
- Opportunity to engage with senior business and policy leaders
Expect a substantive discussion grounded in economic realities, practical implications, and the path forward for Alberta’s business community.
