A relaxed evening where business owners laugh over cringey work moments and connect without awkward small talk. Stories are optional.

Welcome to Cringe Stories

Fort Saskatchewan's most fun (and refreshingly un-serious) networking night

Running a business comes with wins — and it also comes with moments so absurd you can't help but laugh about them later.
The kind of moments that make you think, "Did that really just happen?"

That's what Cringe Stories is all about.

This is a free monthly networking night for business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals who want something more human than traditional networking.
No stiff handshakes.
No forced elevator pitches.
Just real people, real conversations, and stories from the wild side of business life.

Think:

  • Impossible deadlines
  • Weird requests
  • "You cannot make this up" work moments

At the heart of the night is the Wall of WTF — a big, colourful board where guests anonymously share their cringiest work experiences. By the end of the evening, it's covered in notes that prove one thing: none of us are alone in this.

The night includes open networking, optional story sharing, and lighthearted recognition for the most over-the-top moments. You'll leave with new connections, fresh perspective, and probably a few laughs about the chaos we all navigate.

This event isn't about pitching.
It's about people.
It's about connection, laughter, and finding community through the awkward parts of business.

Come as you are.
Stories optional.
Connection guaranteed.
