Event Details

An evening where culture, connection, and inspiration meet — set within an elegant dinner designed for women who lead with purpose.

Featuring keynote voices that embodies the momentum of the Year of the Horse and the spirit of International Women's Day, inspiring reflection, renewal, and forward motion.

Event Audience

We are hosting 88 women — a curated community of established and emerging women entrepreneurs, creatives, influencers, and leaders.

Event Attire

We invite you to dress up in bold colours - whether that's striking print, a darling dress, jump suit, modern power suit - whatever makes you feel great and empowered.

Event Charity

We are delighted to share that 25% of all ticket sales will be going to YWCA Edmonton to support the advancement of women, girls, and families.

Keynote Speakers

Dr. Jinglan Han (Alberta Reproductive Centre, Top 40 under 40)

Dr. Han is no stranger to the plights of being a woman. As we have connected with women across the ages, specifically in childbearing ages, we are well familiar with the pressures of the biological clock for those who wish to have both a career, education and biological children. We invite Dr. Han to speak about her experiences with other women who have struggled and empower young women with education and options on how to navigate this bridge between personal and professional priorities.

Brenda Brix (AMR Design, Brenda Brix Consulting, Brix & Co.)

Her story starts out as a molecular genetics researcher turned Interior Designer. Pivoting from science to creativity and entrepreneurship, she has gained a lot of wisdom about choosing life that serves her seasons. Diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, she talks about reevaluating her priorities and coming back to her scientific roots by serving on the Cancer Research Institute of Northern Alberta as the Patient and Family Advisor.

Thu Parmar (City Counsellor of Ward sipiwiyiniwak)

Councillor Parmar has spent most of her career in leadership roles with her being a pharmacist by trade working at the Government of Alberta in Health Policy to becoming the Vice President at the Canadian Red Cross, she has always had a knack for being a change maker. Most recently impressively winning her campaign as City Councillor of Ward sipiwiyiniwak, she pays homage to her heritage, upbringing and family as guiding values in her life and identity.

Featured DinnerSIUYEH

Led by Chef Hanson, we are excited to have SIUYEH present a reimagined three course plated meal with Asian flair and a nod to Chinese culture. Fueled by passion and creativity, each course will play with familiar flavours in an innovative presentation.
