Celebrate the launch of Edmonton's First Black Futures Dining Guide at the Trini Street Food Pop-Up by Cafe Caribbean

Doubles are an iconic Trinidadian street food made with soft bara (fried flatbread) filled with curried chickpeas and layered with Cafe Caribbean's house-made tamarind sauce, pepper sauce and fresh chutneys. It's a handheld, savoury and saucy treat that is meant to be eaten on the go.

Pholourie will also be available for purchase which are golden fried split pea fritters, crisp on the outside and soft inside, served with Cafe Caribbean's house-made tamarind sauce.

We're bringing Cafe Caribbean's street food culture into the heart of downtown while inviting the community to pick up their guide to explore and support Black-owned restaurants across Edmonton.
