HERizon Rx is coming to Edmonton with an evening of connection, conversation, and inspiration — this time with a dedicated focus on women’s health as both an underserved clinical area and a powerful opportunity for entrepreneurial growth in pharmacy.

Hosted at The Derrick Club, the evening will feature an expert-led discussion and panel with pharmacists who are actively advancing women’s health through innovative practice models, specialized menopause care, and business ownership.

You’ll hear real stories, lessons learned, and practical insights into how pharmacists are building meaningful, sustainable businesses while addressing critical gaps in women’s health care.

Enjoy a welcoming cocktail reception with food, followed by a seated formal program designed to foster authentic dialogue and connection with peers and mentors who share a passion for women’s health and entrepreneurship.

HERizon Rx is inclusive of all individuals who identify as women, across the gender spectrum. Everyone who resonates with this mission is welcome.

Why This Event Matters

Women’s health, including menopause care, remains under-recognized, under-treated, and under-supported within the healthcare system.

At the same time, women make up the majority of the pharmacy profession, yet continue to be underrepresented in ownership, leadership, and entrepreneurial roles.

Pharmacists are uniquely positioned to help change this.

We believe that women’s health represents both a responsibility and an opportunity:
to improve patient care, expand scope-aligned services, and build innovative, values-driven businesses.

HERizon Rx events are designed to:
✨ Foster authentic networks and community
✨ Create space for open conversations about entrepreneurship and innovation
✨ Highlight meaningful areas for clinical and business growth
✨ Advocate for equity in pharmacy ownership
✨ Amplify the voices and journeys of women building impactful pharmacy practices

Whether you’re curious about women’s health services, exploring entrepreneurship, or already building something of your own, this event will spark ideas, build confidence, and help you envision what’s possible.
