We will make Lunar New Year Wontons and then do family zumba together! This session will be repeated on February 25, 2026. We are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions and all tickets are non-refundable.

The Change Health Community Program (CHCP) is a program based out of the University of Alberta Department of Family Medicine. It is a preventative, holistic, community-based program that helps families re-learn healthy living together. Each week consists of a ~1-hour cooking class with a registered dietitian followed by a ~ 45-minute mental health, social connection, nutrition or physical activity workshop.

For Winter 2026, we are continuing our partnership with the Edmonton Public Library to host this program with the support of the Edmonton Community Foundation and the Northern Alberta Clinical Family Medicine Fund. It is open to the public and family can include parents, grandparents, caregivers etc. Each session is limited to 10 families and a $15 fee is required for registration.
