Get ready to pedal through the snow and conquer Winter Bike to Work Day with a hot cup of coffee waiting for you along the way!

Winter Bike to Work Day is a celebration of people who bike in Edmonton — even in winter! On Friday, February 13,during your commute (see times and locations below), five elected councillors who represent downtown-adjacent wards will host pop-up pit stops along key winter bike routes. These spots will offer warm drinks, local treats, friendly faces, and real encouragement for winter commuting.

Whether you bike every day, sometimes, or are curious about winter biking — this is a chance to connect with neighbours, talk with your local councillor, and celebrate winter riders in our city.

This event isn’t a formal rally or march — it’s low-key, cheerful, and about doing what many Edmontonians already do every snow day: ride your bike to work.
