This session will explore the strategic, regulatory, and risk-related implications of AI and emerging technologies in the life sciences industry. The conversation will highlight key themes and questions facing directors and officers as innovation accelerates and expectations continue to change.

Meet the panellists:

Teresa Janecek
Senior Vice President, FINPRO Practice, Marsh

Teresa Janecek is a management liability broker, specializing in the placement of Directors and Officers (D&O) liability insurance programs. Teresa is an active member of Marsh's Global Life Sciences Centre of Excellence, where she leverages her experience advising Canadian life sciences organizations regarding insurance, claims trends and loss prevention.

Kyle Stewart
Vice President, Financial Lines, Chubb Insurance

Kyle brings 24+ years of industry experience, including 14 years at Chubb, where he focuses on broker management and financial lines strategy.

Erik Soderstrom
Senior Vice President, Edmonton Office Leader, Marsh
Erik Soderstrom is an insurance broker specializing in risk management and complex risks. With over 15 years in the industry and 12 years at Marsh Edmonton, Erik has held various roles supporting clients in life sciences, medical, pharmaceutical, and post-secondary institutions.
