Edmonton Poet patti sinclair will perform excerpts from her narrative memoir long poem "The Late Season" and other works. "The Late Season" dives into how death re-stories our lives.

It surges with the extraordinary tide of bereavement alongside the daily, ordinary rhythms of life, exploring how the natural world echoes our human experience, as we move through the season of death’s initiation. patti will also host a Q&A on topics related to writing, poetry and nature, and bereavement.

Edmonton Public Library Author Talks feature a wide range of talented writers. Hear authors read from their works, share insights into their own creative processes, and engage in lively Q and A’s.
