Join us for a guided walking tour through North Glenora.

Join us for a guided walking tour through North Glenora, where we’ll explore the “missing middle” developments that are reshaping the community. The tour will be led by Daniel Wray, intern architect at L7 and graduate of the Urban Planning program at the University of Alberta, alongside Jaco Erwee, Architect at L7 with more than 15 years of professional experience. Together, they will bring both the academic planning perspective and the seasoned design lens of architectural practice.

Along the way, we’ll visit a range of infill projects that highlight the different strategies being applied in North Glenora — from examples that integrate seamlessly into the neighbourhood to those that raise important questions about design, scale, and community impact.

This event aims to spark conversation and raise awareness about the critical role that design and planning decisions play in the success of infill developments. Whether you’re a designer, planner, community member, or simply curious about Edmonton’s housing future, this walking tour will offer valuable insights into how the “missing middle” can either strengthen or challenge the fabric of a community.
