Get ready to dive deep into the world of design with CBC On Design: Screening & Panel at Edmonton Design Week 2025!

CBC On Design explores how an idea becomes a product in your home. Between the initial concept and finished object lie sketches, prototypes, material experiments, user testing, manufacturing puzzles, and countless hidden steps, that journey is rarely a straight line. Each product tells its own story, from an international business born out of hybrid work constraints, to a secretive method for creating colourful concrete for a famous actor’s brand. Join us for a screening of this made-in-Edmonton CBC web series, followed by a panel including the filmmakers and designers behind the project. Event held in partnership with Citadel theatre, supported by The City of Edmonton's Downtown Vibrancy Fund.
