Discover the power of landscape architecture at The Space Between—join a live outdoor design charette and explore its impact on our lives.

Have you ever wondered what landscape architecture is?

Our goal as a stand-alone landscape architecture firm is to bring landscape architecture to the forefront of design. We are showcasing our industry by activating our outdoor space directly outside of our studio space, The Space Between. Those in attendance will get a glimpse of the design process by participating in a live design charette. Who knows, maybe your design will come to life!

The Space Between has a literal meaning, as the space will be between two buildings, yet landscape architecture is often overlooked as an addition, or an accessory in the design world. Landscape architecture is the link within our communities, the connection to our natural and built world.

Landscape architecture stands as humanity's most powerful tool for mediating our relationship with the environment, wielding the capacity to shape not just spaces, but the very essence of human experience, culture, and wellbeing.

This profession operates at the intersection of psychology, ecology, design, social justice, and infrastructure planning, creating spaces that can generate billions in economic value, provide essential life-support systems, and preserve the democratic fabric of our cities. Yet its importance extends far beyond these measurable benefits to address fundamental truths: humans are inextricably shaped by their physical environment, and as our world becomes increasingly privatized and urbanized, the intentional design of landscapes becomes crucial for human flourishing, environmental resilience, and social equity.
