A virtual learning session on planning meaningful communications and engagement for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

September 30 is the annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, as well as Orange Shirt Day, which serves as an opportunity for remembrance, reflection and action. The day honours the children who never returned home from residential schools, in addition to honouring Survivors, their families and communities.

Join us on Tuesday, August 26, from 12 - 1 p.m. (MST) for a virtual learning session on planning meaningful communications and engagement for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The session will be led by our very own Communications Director, Michelle Lean and Engagement Director, Matt Ward.

The presenters will cover:

  • Considerations when engaging and communicating with your audiences about Truth and Reconciliation.

  • Questions and conversations to have with your leadership team.

  • Ideas on how to plan for and execute initiatives for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

  • Resources for learning, unlearning and creating awareness about Truth and Reconciliation.

You will leave the session feeling more prepared to have the right conversations and to be intentional in your communications and engagement strategies for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
