In this session, we'll explore what it means to apply the core ethical principles of Respect for Persons, Concern for Welfare, and Justice in real-world community-based research. Using case studies grounded in participatory work with Black communities, the session will highlight the importance of informed consent, cultural sensitivity, and equitable engagement.

You'll learn strategies for building trust, navigating consent processes, and co-creating research goals with communities historically marginalized in research. Join the conversation on applying ethical principles in diverse research contexts and creating space for shared power and meaningful collaboration.

Tune into this engaging live webinar featuring expert presentations, thought-provoking prompts, and real-world insight into the challenges and successes of conducting research that respects and reflects the voices of Black and racialized communities. Interaction happens through chat or live Q&A, so come ready to listen, reflect, and contribute.
