Join us for a morning networking event to launch AGA Thrive: Newcomer Connections, a program series for artists, arts workers and community members who are new to Canada. This breakfast event includes tea and coffee, pastries, an artist talk and community connection.

Hosted at the Art Gallery of Alberta, this event is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 9-11am and is FREE to attend.

Pre-registration is required.

  • 9am Doors open, refreshments are served
  • 9:10am Welcome and Introduction
  • 9:15am Artist Talk
  • 10am Mingling
  • 11am End of event, FREE admission to the exhibitions

This is part of the AGA's Thrive: Newcomer Connections program. AGA is committed to activating the transformational power of art in welcoming Alberta's growing population of newcomers, in promoting empathy, dispelling prejudices, and celebrating cultural diversity.
