Join us over a free lunch to chat about diabetes that could occur during pregnancy – what is it, how to prevent it, manage it, and caring for a newborn.

This session will include 5 speakers delivering quick talks, followed by time for discussion. This session is great for anyone interested in learning more about diabetes, individuals planning a family, currently or previously pregnant, new parents and more! Babies and children are also welcome to the session and we will also have volunteers in the room who could help you with your little one if you would like.

This session is part of Learn Downtown, a City of Learners speaker series offering bite-size learning opportunities downtown. This event is supported by a Canadian Institute of Health Research Cafe Scientifique Grant.
