Hyena’s Trail, written by Kijo Gatama, is a haunting poetic drama rooted in Eastern African mythology.

We meet Nyakaria, a daughter returning from her studies in Canada, only to find that her old home no longer fits. In her unease, she wakes something ancient — the cackling man-eater itself, scavenging for remnants of a big kill.
