Recently graduating from Macewan University with a Bachelors of Music majoring in performance, Nathan has been establishing himself into the Edmonton music scene as a side man for acts such as Audrey Ochoa at the TD Edmonton International Jazz Festival, with Funk Cove at the River Cree Casino opening for Boney M. and a member of a high energy VGM / Anime band Pure Octane.

Nathan has also been a band leader showcasing original compositions and arrangements recently at his emerging artist show at the Yardbird Suite. Nathan's musical influences and foundation comes from players that include Hank Mobley, Bob Reynolds, Braxton Cook, and bands such as The Itchyworms, Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers and The Brecker Brothers. Nathan is continuing to hone his skills as a tenor saxophonist and establishing his name throughout Alberta and beyond.

Nathan has also performed as a sideman in many events across Canada. He has travelled to Halifax to play in the Re-Jigged Festival with Brianna Lizotte and Ethan Graves for a sold out crowd. He has also played with world renowned trombonist Audrey Ochoa and has even been featured in her TD Edmonton International Jazz Festival show in 2023.
