During Seniors' Week, we recognize and celebrate the valuable contributions that seniors make to Alberta. In honour of those historic contributions, we invite visitors aged 65+ to visit RAM for free from June 3 to 8.

To kick off this celebration, we invite seniors to take over the museum on June 3 for special drop-in programming created especially for lifelong learners. Enjoy live music, dance performances and free access to our new exhibition Orcas: Our Shared Future.

June 5 Ukrainian Voice: A Legacy Mosaic – Guest presentation
Join us on June 5th at 6 pm for a special presentation by creator Larisa Sembaliuk Cheladyn, as she discusses her project, Ukrainian Voice: A Legacy Mosaic. This in-depth talk, held in front of the mosaic, will explore the project's connection to Ukrainian history in Canada, highlighting how salvaged printing blocks from Trident Press were transformed into this powerful public installation.

Group Visits and Buses
We welcome group visits from senior community groups, retirement centres, and senior rec organizations. If you are interested in organizing a group visit, please contact our Admissions Coordinator via email at natalia.lukasheva@gov.ab.ca. Where possible, please contact us one week in advance of your visit.

Note: RAM does not have onsite parking available. For groups arriving by bus, please arrange to be dropped off and picked up at our East entrance. Sections of 99 Street and 103A Avenue are temporarily closed due to construction. This construction also impacts the accessible parking stalls near the museum's West entrance. Public parking is available at one of the public lots nearby. More information can be found on our visit page.

Can’t visit during Seniors' Week? Consider picking up an annual Senior’s Mammoth Pass for $30 and get a year’s worth of admission plus great discounts at the Museum Shop and Café.
