Join the Sifarish Network and CAREMA for an important conversation about how disability is viewed and experienced in South Asian communities

Join the Sifarish Network and CAREMA for an important conversation about how disability is viewed and experienced in South Asian communities—where stigma, silence, and systemic challenges are still common.

This event will be a space for honest dialogue, shared stories, and community connection. We’ll talk about how cultural expectations, family roles, and social pressures influence how disability is understood and talked about.

We’ll also highlight the strength and leadership of South Asians with disabilities who are working to build more inclusive communities.

The event will feature panel discussions, personal stories, and group conversations. Whether you live with a disability, support someone who does, or simply want to learn and be part of the conversation—you’re welcome here.

Let’s break the silence. Let’s build understanding. Let’s move forward together.
