Africanival is to share and celebrate with Edmontonians, the colorful, rich, inviting and diverse cultures of peoples of African descent in Edmonton and beyond.

The mission of Africanival is to bring to awareness and share with Edmontonians, Albertans and Canadians in general, the colourful, rich, inviting and diverse cultures of the peoples of African descent such that Edmontonians can learn, enjoy, participate as well as, second generation African descendants can also learn about their culture and appreciate it. The vision of Africanival is to build a solid, well-organized, well supported yearly event that will attract people from as far as the borders of Canada and beyond, to share in the celebration of Africa's wonderful and inviting cultures.
