Jane’s Walks encourage people to share stories about their neighbourhoods, discover unseen aspects of their communities, and use walking as a way to connect with their neighbours.

This tour explores the history of Ukrainian immigrants in the early 20th Century to McCauley and what drew them to the area. It focusses on the continued prevalance of Ukrainian cultural instituitions and churches in the community. Notable historical and contemporary cultural figures will be showcased through community stories. This is a sensory-driven tour and has participants use all their senses to experience the neighbourhood!
