What if non-profits all worked together, sharing knowledge and resources as a sector? What if we had a more just society? What if people were more engaged and active in their communities?

What if non-profits all worked together, sharing knowledge and resources as a sector? What if we had a more just society? What if people were more engaged and active in their communities?

As we move through the next 25 years, our sector needs to collectively ask ourselves: what can we do to prepare to serve a region of 2 million people and ensure our community is thriving?

It Starts With You...

Join us on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the Edmonton Convention Centre (ECC), in downtown Edmonton for the Beyond The Status Quo Summit, where Edmonton's human services sector will gather to lay the foundation for a new way of working together.

The Summit will explore innovative approaches to answering some big questions:

  • What if we could redesign the human services ecosystem?
  • What if the human services ecosystem was connected and coordinated?
  • What if we combined our creative solutions to address the complex challenges we all face?

About Beyond the Status Quo

Beyond the Status Quo is a collaboration of non-profits who are eager to be the ripple in the pond of systems change in Edmonton.

Together we are building a movement within the sector to identify collective goals, reframe how we think about the questions that need to be answered and move our shared vision into action.

What needs to happen to make that vision a reality?

What if you registered now? (We think you should!)

Registration deadline: April 4th, 2025

The Beyond Status Quo Summit is open to everyone in the human services non-profit sector regardless of their position. We encourage participation from front-line staff, supervisors and managers, directors to board members.

Looking to send a delegate (or two) but require financial assistance. Please contact us directly at transformation@ecvo.ca
