Strathcona County's annual tourism industry conference returns with speakers & an inspiring keynote for a great day of learning & networking

If your business regularly sees customers more than 40 kilometres from their homes, this is the place to learn more about working in the tourism industry.

Strathcona County completed a tourism strategy in 2020 and a subsequent product development plan in 2022 to help businesses develop and offer tourism experiences to visitors. If developed effectively, tourism has the potential to have a significant diversifying effect on the economic base of Strathcona County.

Tourism is a collective effort, and this one-day conference is a way to bring people together to learn from each other and be more effective in attracting visitors to the region. There will be plenty of opportunities for networking throughout the day between the agenda schedule to facilitate connections and new partnerships. Speakers with a wealth of knowledge will share valuable insight on being more effective when working within the visitor economy. At the end of the day, the keynote speaker will be sharing their story of how hard work and willingness to adjust their business has led to success in attracting a wide audience of clientele.

This conference will be held in person at the Ardrossan Recreation Complex at 80 First Avenue in Ardrossan from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Conference registration includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Please include any dietary restrictions in your registration.
