Join us for the first ever Read | Eat | Drink book pairing dinner, where we create a four course set menu centered around a book from our friends and neighbours at Daisy Chain Book Co.
We're kicking off with a book that sparked SO much joy for our culinary and foodie hearts - Taste by Stanley Tucci.
Taste is a reflection on the intersection of food and life, filled with anecdotes about growing up in Westchester New York; preparing for and shooting the foodie films Big Night and Julie & Julia; falling in love over dinner, and teaming up with his wife to create meals for a multitude of children. Each morsel of this gastronomic journey through good times and bad, five-star meals and burned dishes, is as heartfelt and delicious as the last.
The menu will be a blend of recipes from Tucci's memoir, along with inspiration from our own core food memories. The evening includes a private shopping party at Daisy Chain, a four course dinner, reception cocktail, and a reading of favourite snippets from the book. The cost per person is $75 + GST.
We hope to see you there!
PS- Tucci’s book is available at Daisy Chain Book co, and you’ll receive a voucher for a free loaf of sourdough if you purchase from this local gem :)
