Through rare footage, personal interviews, and gripping storytelling, "UKE" sheds light on the lives of legendary players such as Wayne Gretzky, Johnny Bucyk, Ken Daneyko, and Ruslan Fedotenko, revealing their connection to Ukraine and their lasting influence on the world of hockey. Walter Gretzky, affectionately known as Canada's hockey dad, makes a special appearance in the film too.

The premiere event in Edmonton is much more than just a film screening. The evening will be hosted by Kelly Hrudey, renowned hockey analyst and former NHL goaltender.
