We will be helping filmmakers learn how to understand and promote inclusivity on set! Lets learn how to maintain the cohesive ecosystem.

Mindbuffs and the Edmonton Short Film Festival are partnering up to give local filmmakers an amazing opportunity to learn more about how to increase their creative potential on and off sets. At Mindbuffs, we understand that the creative process can be as demanding as it is rewarding. That's why we offer specialized psychology services specifically crafted for creatives across all disciplines, including musicians, artists, dancers, and actors. We're here to help you harness your full artistic potential, empowering you to maintain creativity under pressure and thrive in competitive and demanding artistic fields. Mindbuffs is offering a 3 part webinar series focusing on some of the common challenges in the filmmaking industry and giving practical tools to overcome them.

By now, we have covered internal stress management and how to navigate the various different roles that exist on set. Everyone on set has a role to play, and creative professionals get to step into and out of different identities and roles every day. This session is going to focus primarily on how everyone in the filmmaking process can use inclusive language to promote and maintain the cohesive ecosystem within each film set. We will discuss approaches and strategies about what to do when you notice inconsistencies in language, and how to approach and navigate the conversation with confidence. With increasing confidence comes the ability to know intrinsically when it’s appropriate to advocate for yourself and others. Let’s wrap up this webinar series by building that toolkit together.
