Whether you want to reconnect to your ancestral language or learn a language from the territory, this is the class for you. This class is offered in partnership with the Canadian Native Friendship Centre and is suitable for beginners and those with previous language knowledge.

This is a free registered, in-person class where you will also connect with community members and make new friends through shared passion for language revitalization. Please register for each session to secure your spot.

Classes run as a series on Mondays from October to May. Mondays will be in-person at the Highlands Branch and Wednesdays will be online on zoom. Mondays will be more aligned for those with some experience, but all are welcome to both. Participants are welcome to join either or both sessions at any time, with the understanding that it may take some time to catch up through immersion and practice coming to the classes over many sessions.
