Togather is a loose translation of the Chinese saying “不见不散”. It means “Don’t leave until we meet”.

What we love about this saying is it includes making plans at a specific location, friendships, and accountability. This idea of relying on one another reflects the history of our Chinatown - A community of residents, organizations, and businesses built upon mutual aid. At Togather Chinatown Arts Festival, we hold space for multi-culturalism, inclusion, gathering, collaboration, and sharing through the Arts.

The curated festival showcases community-minded, BIPOC and marginalized artists, community organizations, as well as emerging artists and micro-businesses who are making a splash in the local arts scene. Here we share our histories and celebrate Edmonton’s vibrant and diverse arts and culture. Alongside the market are family friendly activities including performances, workshops, children's activities, games, food, and more!
