This Teach-in, "Understanding Alberta's Anti-Trans Laws" invites you to hear from experts about what these new laws involve and their impacts. Discussion will include conversation related but not limited to: sex education, parental rights, trans participation in sport, gender-affirming healthcare, and the unique implications of the laws on Two Spirit youth.

Misinformation is fuelling a lot of confusion about Alberta's new education, sport, and healthcare policies, and this teach-in will help clarify what these policies are about and their impacts. This event is for community members who want to learn from those with expertise on the issues, but it is also a space of solidarity.
