Light Up 2024 is Saturday, November 30, from 3–6:30 p.m. at Central Park in Spruce Grove. Watch as the park is transformed into a winter wonderland and a spectacle of light!

Schedule of Events

3 p.m. - Festivities begin (see activities below)
5:15 p.m. - Welcome from Mayor Jeff Acker and City Council
5:30 p.m. - Countdown to LIGHT UP!
5:30-6:30 p.m. - DJ Dance Party in Central Park
6:30 p.m. - Festivities conclude

What's happening this year?

There's something for every member of the family at Light Up! Here's a look at what we have planned this year:

  • Horse-drawn carriage rides
  • Free hot dogs, hot chocolate, and Canadian maple taffy (while supplies last)
  • Photos with Santa (ends at 5:30 p.m.)
  • Outdoor vendor market
  • Axe throwing (ages 7+) 
  • Free public skating at the Agrena (ends at 5:30 pm, all skaters must bring their own skates and helmet)
  • Cookie decorating
  • Crafts
  • Pop-Up Playground
  • Photo booth
  • Code Ninjas
  • Games and winter activities
  • DJ Dance Party
Stuff a Cruiser

Help support our neighbours in need by bringing a new, unwrapped gift or cash donation to stuff an Enforcement Services cruiser in support of the Spruce Grove and East Parkland Kinette Christmas Hampers
