On December 6, 1989, a gunman targeted women at École Polytechnique, killing 14 women and injuring many others. Nathalie was shot four times in the head and leg as she bravely attempted to reason with the attacker. Despite her injuries, she helped guide others to safety, advising them to play dead to survive. Her courage that day earned her Canada's Medal of Bravery, and her unwavering commitment to justice and equity has made a lasting impact.

During this powerful conversation, Nathalie will reflect on her personal journey of recovery and advocacy, from her return to studies just weeks after the tragedy to becoming the first woman to represent students on Polytechnique's Board of Directors.
