The NERD Run (Neuroscience Education, Research and Discovery) is a fun run organized by the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute at the University of Alberta that raises awareness and support for brain and mental health research.
Walk or run in support of brain and mental health research at the University of Alberta.
Run Details:
- Saturday, September 14th in Kinsmen Park (Opening Remarks at 10:00 am)
- 2.5 km walk, 5 km walk or run, 10 km run
- Early bird registration pricing until July 31st; FREE for children 0 -12
- Event will be time chipped
- Open to all ages and athletic abilities
- Register before August 30th and receive a free exclusive NERD Run tech t-shirt
Schedule:
10:00 am - Opening remarks
10:10 am - 10 km run start
10:15 am - 5 km walk/run start
10:20 am - 2.5 km walk start
11:30 am - Award ceremony and closing remarks
