Workplace Campaign Sharing Cafe
Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024
12:00pm to 3:00pm
27
Join a group of current and previous campaign volunteers to chat and ideate about running workplace campaigns.
United Way Sharing Cafés are a chance for you to learn with your peers from across the region about running workplace campaigns. Connect directly with other campaign volunteers to share best practices, generate new and innovative campaign ideas, and network with others who are passionate about making a difference in our communities.
We welcome volunteers from any sector and any level of volunteer experience to join us. This is a perfect opportunity for new volunteers to glean knowledge from past/returning volunteers that will generously share their wisdom and learnings from past experiences.
"The ability to hear what other campaigns were doing to increase engagement and excitement in the campaign was very helpful to us. PCL in turn shared our campaign's plans and activities that were ongoing. There was complete agreement between those in attendance that the time spent sharing and chatting with other campaign chairs was time well spent!"
– Ian McKinnon, 2023 Employee Campaign Chair at PCL Construction
Agenda:
- 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm – Registration and networking
- 12:30 pm – 2:40 pm – Panel Discussion and Breakout Conversations
- 2:40 pm – 3:00 pm – Community Impact Strategy Presentation
Breakout conversations will include:
- Importance of building education into your campaign
- Non-financial asks
- Gen Z: A mutually beneficial relationship.
There will also be an early access signup available for attendees to book 1-on-1 mentorship meetings with some of committee members of our most successful campaigns!
