This event is designed as a teaching and educational enrichment experience. The goal is that you learn to do your own repairs and leave the event with new skills to make similar repairs on your own in the future.

Sometimes, in order to wear your clothes longer, they need to be repaired or altered. Join us for a free, productive social
engagement. During our community clothing repair clinic, you bring your clean apparel items needing repair, and you use our machines,
various tools, and diverse scraps to repair, mend, and re-imagine your items under the guidance of our volunteer experts. (though we have basic supplies, if your item needs a zipper replacement, you are responsible for bringing the new zipper)

The event is free, but you must register as there are only 40 spots available.

You are in the right place whether you already know how to repair your clothes and just want a space to tackle your mending pile with others OR you need a little help to learn how to fix your clothes. We will not do the repair for you but teach you the skills required to make the repairs yourself.

Due to hot irons, cords across the floor, and sharp objects like pins and needles, we suggest all those in attendance are over the age of 10.
