Since the computer was introduced in the 1970's it has become a significant driver of innovation and change over the last fifty years. The introduction of AI and embedded systems is equally significant to suggest that we are leaving the Information Age and entering into a new era that will stress existing institutions and structures used to support our economic and social interactions.
