What is the Circular Economy?
The circular economy (CE), like a forest ecosystem, is a cyclical system where "waste" is material and energy used to feed other organisms. Items previously conceived as waste could be recovered, repaired, upgraded, or remanufactured. Underutilized resources can be shared. Waste from one industry could be a value added resource for another. Waste reduction is just one outcome of the CE.
