After the screening, engage with a filmmakers panel facilitated by Omar Mouallem, an award-winning journalist, documentarist, and author known for his film “Lebanese Burger Mafia” and more.

In 1905, many African Americans immigrated to Alberta from a post-slavery United States. Hear descendents tell about their ancestors as well as their own modern-day experiences.
