Grab your bike and join the RVA for our May trail bike tour, beginning at Terwilliger Park and crossing 4 unique bridges.

Join the River Valley Alliance's Community Engagement Committee for a bike tour from Terwilliger Park, crossing 4 unique bridges.

What to bring:

  • This event is BYOB (bring your own bike or e-bike). Please make sure your bike is in good working order. One of our members will be available to help with any bike issues and we will have a first aid kit on hand.
  • We would also suggest wearing weather-appropriate clothing and bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated. Parking: Parking is available at the parking lot located in Terwilliger Park.
  • Route: We will begin on the paved trail in Terwilliger Park and cross 4 unique bridges, going to the edge of Hawrelak Park and returning by the same route.

Difficulty: Medium - this will be a longer ride of around 18 KM round trip. However, it will be a leisurely ride with opportunities to stop and take photos of the beautiful river views. The route is mostly flat, with a few rollers, a switch back and a dog park.

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time to check-in and get situated. As a group we will all be leaving promptly at 9:30am. To help us keep to schedule, please arrive by 9:15am.

Please remember to dress for the weather. In the case of inclement weather we will notify you of a cancellation.
