Step back in time with Erik Backstrom for a lively discussion of how history, architecture and faith came together in Strathcona

Old Strathcona is significant to the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Edmonton. Two of the Church's first rented halls in the city were in Strathcona and so was its first purpose-built meetinghouse. Step back in time with Erik Backstrom for a lively discussion of how history, architecture and faith came together in one of Edmonton's best-loved communities. The route is about 1.5 km on sidewalks and paved alleys. The start and end points are accessible by multiple bus routes and the 83 Avenue protected bike lane.
