Join us on April 24th, 2024 at Edmonton Unlimited for YEG Destination Tech—an inclusive event designed to spotlight Edmonton's vibrant technology ecosystem, tailored for professionals from diverse backgrounds. If you're curious about careers in tech and would like to meet folks from various companies to learn about the industry, then this event is for you!

Join us on April 24th, 2024 at Edmonton Unlimited for YEG Destination Tech—an inclusive event designed to spotlight Edmonton's vibrant technology ecosystem, tailored for professionals from diverse backgrounds. If you're curious about careers in tech and would like to meet folks from various companies to learn about the industry, then this event is for you!

With a strong emphasis on equity, diversity, and inclusion, YEG Destination Tech aims to connect tech employers and job seekers who are curious about careers in tech. Our mission is to welcome in professionals from all backgrounds, encompassing gender, ethnicity, sexuality, and neurodiversity, to explore exciting career opportunities within the tech industry.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

  • 12:30 pm - Registration & networking - light snacks will be provided
  • 1:00 pm - Opening remarks & keynote presentation from Erin Leonty
  • 1:45 pm - Workshops/breakout sessions
  • 2:45 pm - Break & networking
  • 3:00 pm - Employer presentations
  • 3:25 pm - Reflection & closing remarks
  • 3:30 pm - Employer showcase & networking
  • 5:00 pm - Event comes to a close
