A panel discussion from local artists on how to navigate the awkward decision of deciding what you're worth.

What do you charge for that?

If you're an artist or a freelancer, that question can be terrifying.

Do I name a firm price or are we starting a negotiation? If I go to high, will I be dismissed right away? What do other people charge? Is my work actually worth anything?!?

For our first Upstart Creative Community event, we're going to try to ease that anxiety with a panel discussion about pricing your work. We're bringing in some local arts inustry pros to help you learn the secrets of their success. You'll also have a chance to politely ask them some questions about their work as well as fire tough accountability questions at our co-founders (Kelley & Sam) to learn what Upstart is all about.
