Wîhkwêntôwin Community League
The Wîhkwêntôwin Community League is 100% volunteer driven by people who live and work in Wîhkwêntôwin, Edmonton (109 Street-124th Street & the River Valley to 104 Ave). In 1922 the residents of west Edmonton established the West End Community League. The Oliver Community League emerged out of this foundational organization in 1937. In 2024, the neighbourhood name changed to Wîhkwêntôwin in a process supported and drive by the community league. Now, the Wîhkwêntôwin Community League is thrilled to grow and continue to make our neighbourhood welcome for all.
