Alberta Data Partnerships
Alberta Data Partnerships Ltd. (ADP), established in 1996 as a not-for-profit public–private partnership, holds an exclusive licence from the Government of Alberta to compile, maintain, and distribute key provincial digital mapping datasets while the Crown retains copyright. ADP delivers services through its AltaLIS joint venture and specialized contractors (MNC Ltd. and AbaData), providing cadastral mapping, disposition data, elevation models, topographic data, and imagery products to government, industry, and the public . The Board of Directors includes representatives from: Government of Alberta; Alberta Energy Regulator; ATCO Gas; Telus; Fortis Alberta; Rural Municipalities Association (RMA); Alberta Municipalities (AM); Alberta Forest Products Association (AFPA); Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP); Alberta One Call; and Alberta Chamber of Resources (ACR).
