With tight harmonies, clever storytelling, and a knack for making audiences laugh, Lewis & Royal are a folk duo like no other. Since joining forces in 1993, these prairie boys have charmed their way across Western Canada with songs that celebrate the quirks and comforts of rural life.

Best known for their hit musical comedy CHICKENS, they bring that same sharp wit to the stage, effortlessly blending heartfelt ballads with side-splitting tunes. One moment they’ll have you tapping your toes, the next, wiping away tears of laughter.

What sets Lewis & Royal apart is their onstage chemistry: an easy banter, quick wit, and playful energy that make every performance feel unique. Audiences never quite know what to expect—except that they’ll laugh, sing along, and leave uplifted. Their live album, Lock Up Your Gopher, captures that trademark spontaneity and humour.

From intimate concerts in prairie churches and community halls to major folk festivals and even the Calgary Saddledome, Lewis & Royal continue to captivate with performances that balance heartfelt storytelling, rich harmonies, and a generous dose of comedic flair.

If you’re ready for an afternoon of authentic music, heartfelt stories, and plenty of laughs, Lewis & Royal are sure to deliver.
