Although he incorporates genres like Afrobeat, jazz, and soul, hip-hop is always at the core. One of Alberta’s most recognized artists, Arlo’s resume includes airplay in multiple countries, appearances in various publications, headlining festivals, touring overseas and charting on national campus radio charts.

Arlo’s live show, backed by a band, can be described as a symbiotic exchange in which the audience is part of the show. Creating moments unique to every performance, no two Arlo Maverick shows are the same.

Pairing music and storytelling through hip-hop songs that are thought-provoking yet fun, Arlo’s deeply narrative-driven show is far from your average concert.  His passion on stage connects with audiences on a level of intimacy and vulnerability that evokes visceral reactions. The Arlo Maverick experience balances introspection with celebration while creating community through interactive songs that serve as anthems for the everyday person.
