The past, present, and future of ballet—on one stage

Alberta Ballet celebrates sixty years of artistry with the 60th Anniversary Gala, a special mixed program honouring the company’s rich legacy while looking toward the future of ballet in Alberta and beyond.

This celebratory production brings together highlights from the past 60 years alongside iconic masterpieces and new creations that give space to emerging choreographic voices. Through a dynamic mix of classical and contemporary works, the program reflects the artistic evolution of Alberta Ballet and the many choreographers, dancers, and creators who have shaped our story. Featuring performances by the students of Alberta Ballet School, the next generation of artists takes the stage alongside the company, offering a glimpse into the future of ballet in our province.

Special guest performances and tributes to the company’s history will make these performances especially memorable. The 60th Anniversary Gala celebrates the artistry, passion, and community that have defined Alberta Ballet for six remarkable decades, and the creative spirit that continues to guide its future.
