Step into a world of enchantment, adventure, and unforgettable music with Stravinsky’s The Firebird. Inspired by folklore, this dazzling tale follows a brave young prince, a magical Firebird, and a kingdom under the spell of a wicked sorcerer. With shimmering melodies, mysterious dances, and a thrilling, triumphant finale, Stravinsky’s colorful score brings the story to life in a way that sparks the imagination and keeps listeners on the edge of their seats. From whispering strings to blazing brass, every moment paints a vivid scene of courage, friendship, and transformation.

Symphony For Kids concerts are designed to be the ideal child-sized introduction to orchestral music and are recommended for ages 5–12. Family-friendly activities are available in the lobby prior to each SFK concert, so be sure to arrive early – and, of course, there will be fresh popcorn!

This concert will not include an intermission.
