Singing in English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese, Maria explores the music and rhythms of different cultures, bringing her own jazz interpretation to international favourites and timeless standards.

Backed by an outstanding ensemble of musicians, Around the World in Jazz travels through the romance and rhythms of Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Brazil and Japan, before returning home to the great jazz traditions of North America.

With warmth, humour and stories woven throughout the evening, Maria celebrates the extraordinary way music crosses borders, connects cultures and speaks a language all its own.

Six languages. Many cultures. One universal language: Jazz.
